Jay Franco is a trained violinist, and also sings and plays the keyboards. He is loaded with tremendous dynamism to share the best of his musical talent to the community around him.
Sensing the need for single musicians, the term ‘One Man Big Band’ was coined by him a few years ago in a view to replace big groups of musicians, yet retain the wonderful sounds of a big band. This facilitates clients on tight budgets, space constraints, volume levels, and most importantly, quality music played on a sophisticated keyboard. Brandishing his lovely violin and unlimited imagination, a marked passion and unmistakable gift, Jay’s performances attract audiences who love songs of the past.
Songs include music sung by famous icons such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Gershwin, Antonio Jobim, Louis Armstrong, Al Martino, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Paul Anka, Carpenters, ABBA, BoneyM, Stevie Wonder, and other stars of yore. Jay brings to the table a diverse mix of songs from various countries and cultures which stir up sentiments and thoughts of his audiences through his musical performances.
Jay Franco is much sought after for his immemorable music at several Private Parties, Retirement Homes, Long Term Cares, Lifestyle Living Centres, Dinner Theatres, Community Events, Legions and Clubs which are located in and around Toronto – from Oshawa to Oakville – Orangeville!
In addition to his entertaining abilities, Jay Franco leads the music and singing for the Saturday 5.00pm am service at St. Dunstan Catholic Church (Scarborough, Toronto).
